The relationship status is the single most powerful Facebook feature and tends to cause a LOT of emotional uproar. People spend days, weeks and even months obsessing over someone’s relationship status. I’ve even heard a few people refer to this Facebook feature as the “curse” – the minute someone changes their status to “In a Relationship,” the relationship in question is surely doomed. Once it’s out in the open Facebook arena, some people begin to wonder if they really want to be in the relationship after all.
